Travelers heading to destinations like Detroit can take a direct flight from Dubai to Chicago or Houston and then transfer to a United Airlines flight for their final destination. Emirates’ Skywards members can earn and use miles on all flights within United Airlines’ global network.

Extended Reach Across Regions

By activating the codeshare partnership, United Airlines can expand its reach to other regions globally. US travelers can now make use of United Airlines’ services to connect to Emirates flights bound for Dubai through the three major hubs. After arriving at Dubai International Airport, passengers can continue their journey to various distinctive destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.

Benefits for MileagePlus Members

Emirates Skywards members receive comprehensive rewards, while MileagePlus members can only earn miles on specific flights. These flights include United Airlines’ daily service from Newark Liberty International Airport to Dubai International Airport, as well as select Emirates-operated flights to certain destinations in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
