Egypt to Launch 1st Egypt Air Show in May 2024
In collaboration with Arabian World Events (AWE), the Assist Agency organized a global press conference to announce the inaugural Egypt Air Show 2024. The event is slated to occur in May 2024 at Al Alamein International Airport, backed by the Egyptian Armed Forces and Air Forces. The conference attracted an array of public figures, media personnel, military attachés, and executives from prestigious global corporations.
Air Marshal Mahmoud Fouad Abdel Gawad, the Air Forces’ Commander, expressed Egypt’s readiness to welcome leaders from the global defense, military, and aerospace sectors. He highlighted the exhibition’s primary goal: to extend collaboration opportunities between Egypt and other countries in all areas of aircraft manufacturing and space technology.

Egypt Air Show: A Confluence of Technological Advancements and Collaboration
Air Marshal Mohammed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, views the exhibition as a remarkable opportunity for fostering international cooperation and keeping pace with the latest technological progress. He hopes the exhibition’s first edition will genuinely represent Egypt’s quality, tradition, and its valorous people and Armed Forces.
Brigadier Ahbakr Mohammed El-Beomi, Director of Signal Management in the Armed Forces, underlined the significance of investment in domestic space technology and expanding the ownership of new orbital points. These strategies can significantly contribute to the country’s development trajectory.
Anticipating an Overwhelming Response and Participation
Thomas Gunt, CEO of the organizing company, AWE, anticipates the Egypt Air Show 2024 will serve as a significant gathering for the world’s top institutions in defense, armament, space, and aviation technology. He predicts participation from over 250 local, regional, and international institutions.
Yamna Ibrahim, CEO of the Assist Agency, lauded the global press conference’s successful attendance and comprehensive media coverage, commensurate with the event’s enormity. This large-scale event signifies an unprecedented cooperation between the Armed Forces and major corporations inside and outside Egypt.
