Saudia’s Strategy for Growth
Captain Ibrahim Koshy, CEO of Saudia, attributes the growth in Q1 2023 to the airline’s operational plan, which focuses on increasing flights and seating capacity while maintaining operational efficiency and on-time performance. Enhanced travel experiences, such as the “Your Ticket Your Visa” service, have also contributed to the loyalty of guests from all over the world.
As part of its commitment to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, Saudia has supported the transportation of visitors, tourists, and organizers attending various events, exhibitions, and conferences in Saudi Arabia. The airline’s ambitious plan includes transporting more pilgrims through the Pilgrim Experience Program and further connecting the world with Saudi Arabia.
Fleet Expansion and Future Plans
Saudia’s operations are set to grow in the coming years. The airline is expected to receive its first Airbus A321neo soon, with additional deliveries of the same aircraft as well as the A321XLR model anticipated.
