Our airline for today is Saudi Airlines, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, which is based in Jeddah; Saudi Arabia. Saudi Airlines were formally founded in 1945 with a gifted single aircraft from the U.S. president at that time; Franklin D. Roosevelt, a twin-engine DC-3 (Dakota) (HZ-AAX) to the King of Saudi Arabia at that time; King Abdul Aziz.

Several months later, the Saudi Airline purchased 2 more aircraft of the same type, and by that time, these 3 aircraft were the beginning of this airline!

The fleet of Saudi Airlines consists of several aircraft types and they are:

For the passengers

The quality of the services that Saudi Airlines provides is excellent. From self-experience, I can say it does really let you enjoy your flight whatever your destination is, no matter if it is a domestic flight or an international flight.

On international flights (economy class), you will be able to enjoy your flight with the inflight entertainment screens for each passenger, the crew provides a headset for the screens prior to departure. The inflight entertainment screens offer wide options from movies, games, and more to entertain yourself while flying! Also, during your flight, you will enjoy their hot fresh meal, which differs from one destination to another as well as the timing of the flight. The inflight entertainment screens are on all Saudia aircraft except on A321s and some A320s and A330s.

On domestic flights, Saudia usually provides a small snack during the flight.

Destinations

The airline flies from Saudi Arabia to over 80 cities, and among the most prominent travel destinations; are Jonesburg, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, London, Jakarta, Guangzhou, and much more! Also, Saudi Airlines operate cargo flights operated by their own cargo fleet!

All in all, the experience of traveling with Saudi Airlines is special and will be memorable for a good period of time.
