In an exciting revival of aviation history, Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), a trailblazer in commercial air travel, is set to offer a unique transatlantic Boeing 757 tour next year. This special event aims to evoke the glamour and prestige of the Golden Age of travel, inviting passengers to experience a time when the journey was as significant and enchanting as the destination.
The 2025 Pan Am Revival Tour
From June 27 to July 9, 2025, Pan Am will embark on a remarkable 12-day transatlantic journey, marking a legendary return. The tour will revisit the airline’s historic southern and northern transatlantic routes, including destinations such as New York, Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London, and Foynes.

A privately chartered Boeing 757, configured with an all-business-class cabin featuring modern lie-flat seats, will be used for this journey. Travelers will bypass the usual hassles of public air terminals and commercial flights, benefiting from expedited customs and immigration at each destination.
Accompanying passengers for the entire duration of the tour will be a handpicked crew. Throughout the flight, passengers will enjoy upscale meals showcasing continental cuisine and an open bar, enhancing the overall luxurious experience.
This commemorative journey is a collaboration between Criterion Travel and Bartelings Associates, operating under an officially licensed partnership with Pan Am Brands.
The Price of Prestige
This exceptional journey, limited to just 50 seats, comes at a notable cost. According to Criterion Travel’s official website, the price is set at $59,950 per person for double occupancy and $65,500 for solo travelers.
Throughout the trip, travelers will be accommodated in luxurious hotels, including the Four Seasons Hotel in Lisbon, The Savoy in London, Dromoland Castle in County Clare, the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and The Rosewood Bermuda in Bermuda.
Hosting this exclusive journey will be Craig Carter, a seasoned leader in the travel industry with over four decades of experience. As the new custodian of the Pan Am legacy, Carter is well-prepared to guide this transformative venture.
Pan Am’s Enduring Legacy
Pan American World Airways, until its closure in 1991, was the most prominent international carrier in the United States and a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The airline made significant contributions to the history of aviation, setting two world records with the Boeing 747 at its peak.
Though Pan Am ceased operations at 64 years old due to bankruptcy, its legacy continues to live on, inspiring a new generation of travelers and aviation enthusiasts alike.
